Sprinkler Irrigation System
Sprinkler Irrigation system is a method of water conveying system from main water resources to the cultivation fields through spray technology. This type of technology is used mainly where the crops cultivation is irregular and for the crops which require cool breeze. In sprinkler system the water has been pressurized & sprayed through an orifice which has been fitted in a self rotating shut off nozzle. Tulsi has got the ISI license from Bureau of Indian Standards (IS – 14151 – part 1 & 2) and adheres to the BIS procedures for every sprinkle production. These sprinkler pipes are manufactured from High Density Polyethylene granules and special additives such as ultra violet radiation stabilizers, antioxidants, anti aging & environmental stress crack agents, etc. Tulsi Sprinklers are tested in our well designed lab to check suitability for use on all types of properties. The performance is also tested at the site to ensure even water distribution. TULSI Sprinkler pipes are manufacturing range varies from Ø 63 mm to Ø 75 mm and has pressure ratings of 2.5 & 3.25 Kgf/cm2. HDPE fittings are manufactured inside our premises and our vendors who are registered in BIS are supplying nozzles, clamps and raiser pipes. The pipes and fittings are welded with each other by fusion welding and Butt welding technology. The fittings are classified into self attached clamp type and Latch type. Tulsi has registered under various government boards in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan for authorized supply of sprinkler systems and Tulsi have 75 service centers in the above mentioned states.

Maintenance
- Any equipment needs maintenance to keep it operating at peak efficiency. Some general principal regarding the maintenance of sprinkler system are highlighted.
- Do not apply oil, grease or any lubricant to the sprinklers. They are water lubricated hence using oil or grease may stop them from functioning.
- Sprinkler usually has a sealed bearing and at the bottom of the bearing there are washers . Check the washer’s for wear & tear once a season or every six months and replace if found worn.
- The swing arm spring loosens after several seasons of operation which can be tightened by pulling out the spring end at the top and re-bending it. This will increase the spring tension.
